Join Faith Technologies as a Low Voltage Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low voltage and structured cabling systems for commercial and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of systems including data, voice, security, access control, and fire alarms while following the guidance of project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, route, and secure low voltage and structured cabling on diverse projects.
• Terminate, label, and test copper and fiber cabling to meet industry standards.
• Assist in the installation of devices such as jacks, patch panels, racks, cameras, and access control hardware.
• Interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams to complete layouts and cable paths effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage systems while documenting findings and repairs accurately.
• Work collaboratively with electricians, project managers, and engineers to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality goals.
• Adhere to all Faith Technologies and jobsite safety policies, ensuring the use of proper PPE and tools at all times.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while accurately documenting daily records of labor, materials, and test results.
Essential Skills:
• Expertise in low voltage wiring techniques.
• Experience with structured cabling installations.
• Proficiency in cable termination (both copper and fiber).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with hand and power tool usage.
• Testing and certification of cabling knowledge.
• Understanding of fire alarm systems.
• Knowledge of security and access control systems.
• Experience in conduit installation and cable routing.
• Familiarity with documentation and labeling standards.
