Purpose and Responsibilities:
The aim of this role is to expertly install electrical systems for new constructions, renovations, and remodeling projects. You will work closely with a crew leader or foreman, demonstrating strong autonomy and efficiency.
• Experience in measuring, bending, threading, and installing various types of electrical conduits including MC, EMT, rigid raceways, and PVC, both at grade level and elevated heights using ladders and lifts.
• Proficiently set up for wire installation, pulling wire, and utilizing wire tuggers.
• Capable of terminating panels, setting fixtures, handling device installations, and managing cable tray setups.
• Well organized with excellent time management skills.
• Effectively communicate special equipment needs to the foreman.
• Interpret and apply job drawings for electrical system installations.
• Develop and communicate material lists for timely project execution.
• Able to meet weekly performance benchmarks as set by the foreman.
• Maintain awareness of project plans, schedules, and expectations as directed.
• Promote safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Utilize all assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
• Foster a positive work culture encouraging safety and open communication.
• Maintain a personal toolbox equipped with the necessary tools and attachments.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience installing electrical systems in the commercial sector.
• Hands-on field experience completing assigned electrical tasks.
• Knowledge of trade inspections and interactions with various jurisdictions and inspectors.
• Trade certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit, bend, and stoop.
• Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
• Physically able to climb, crawl, and squat as required by the job.
