Traveling Journeyman Electrician / Lead Foreman
Pay: $32-$45/hour DOE
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians and Lead Foremen for nationwide travel projects involving critical power infrastructure upgrades and electrical installations. This role is ideal for electricians who enjoy traveling, working on large-scale commercial and industrial projects, and are comfortable being deployed for extended periods.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments
• Perform conduit installation (3/4"–4" EMT and rigid conduit)
• Pull, terminate, and test electrical wiring
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and electrical schematics
• Assist with generator, UPS, and critical power system installations
• Lead crews and coordinate field activities on larger projects
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
• Work flexible schedules, including day, night, and weekend shifts as project requirements dictate
Qualifications
• Current Journeyman Electrician license REQUIRED
• Experience leading crews and managing electrical projects preferred
• Commercial, industrial, or manufacturing electrical experience
• Ability to work with voltages ranging from 24V DC to 480V AC
• Experience bending conduit, pulling wire, and making terminations
• Knowledge of UPS systems, backup power systems, and critical power infrastructure preferred
• Experience with industrial controls, automation, or PLCs is a plus
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Lift certification and experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, or bucket trucks preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
Travel Requirements
• Extensive travel required throughout the United States
• Candidates must be willing to remain deployed for extended periods based on project needs
• Must be open to working any shift, including nights, depending on project schedules
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Must be eligible to operate company vehicles
